Fauna from Cova de Bolomor (Middle Pleistocen, 150.000-120.000 BP)

Vitrina 3
At the upper levels of Cova del Bolomor (Tavernes de Valldigna, Valencia) typical species of mild weather conditions have been documented: hippopotamus, aurochs, wild asses, boars and turtles, although deer and caprids are the most frequently hunted animals. Carnivores represent only a small percentage, among which are two bear species (the largest brown bear and a similar one to the Tibetan bear, but smaller in size).
